What exactly is New Media? I’m interested in this program for university, but i have no clue what its about.

My guess is that it would involve study of the internet, perhaps interactive television, etc. “new media” vs. “traditional media” … magazines, newspapers, broadcast television, etc.

If I’m correct, then perhaps after you study “new media” you could generate content for these media (producer, writer, designer, etc.), work in “operations” (the people who help make things work), sales and marketing (maybe selling a service, or marketing a site to generate users, etc.)
