how do i get rid of the new version of windows media player and get the old one back, and not loose my music?

Go into Control Panel > Add/ Remove Programs. Once you remove Windows Media Player 11, it will automatically reinstall WMP 10. I did this myself about a month ago.

You will not lose your music. You just may have to re-scan for music to rebuild your library.

I don’t think you are able too get the old version back.

I had the same feeling when I first started using the new version, but once you start you will find that it is better then the old one.

I find the best feature is that it automatically categorizes everything instantly. It shows you Artist, Album & Year.

I promise, once you practice it a bit, you will like it. Give it a chance.
